Vice President of Iskcon Kolkata Radha Raman said that the monks were arrested on Friday by the police while on their way to home after meeting Chinmoy Krishna Das

"We strongly protest such arrests and appeal to the Bangladesh government to give protection to minorities,” claimed Radharamn Das, the vice-president and spokesperson of ISKCON.

Two Iskcon priests were arrested in Bangladesh amidst rising tensions within the Hindu community. Radharamn Das, Iskcon Kolkata vice president, confirmed the arrests and reported that an Iskcon center in Bhairav was also vandalized.
