The Washington Commanders have released 2023 first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes. The second-year cornerback was a healthy scratch for two games this season and didn't play in two others when in uniform.

It didn't take long once the season started to see the Washington Commanders were done with second-year cornerback Emmanuel Forbes. Unlike most situations, this one was a little different, considering Forbes was a first-round pick just over a year ago.

Another one, gone. The Washington Commanders waived cornerback Emmanuel Forbes Jr. on Saturday, leaving them without any of their first-round draft picks from 2019 to 2023 on the roster. All six of those players have been traded or cut.
