To expand its Bitcoin portfolio, MARA Holdings, the largest publicly traded Bitcoin miner on Wall Street, has taken an unexpected route.

MARA (NASDAQ:MARA) said it is looking to offer $700 million aggregate principal amount of 0.00% convertible senior notes due 2031 in a private offering. The firm said it also expects to grant to the initial purchasers of the notes an option to purchase up to an additional $105 million aggregate principal amount of the notes.
