The Los Angeles Rams beat the New Orleans Saints 21-14 at at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans on Sunday. Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns. The Rams stand at 6-6;

The Darren Rizzi magical run is over for now, as the Saints got knocked back down to reality on Sunday. The Rams came in and bulldozed New Orleans in the second half and were able to close out the game late to earn a 21-14 win.

The win got the Rams back to .500 at 6-6, keeping them only one game out of first place in the NFC West behind the Seattle Seahawks. It wasn’t a pretty win or one that will make Sean McVay feel good about the offense, but it was a much-needed victory against a resilient Saints team that had been 2-0 under interim coach Darren Rizzi.
