Brennan filed a motion seeking William Read‘s phone records from the night O‘Keefe died. In a response motion, Read’s lawyers call the request a “fishing expedition” and said prosecutors already have records of calls between Kareen Read and her father from her phone.

Prosecutors said Read’s phone records indicate she called her mother and father multiple times in the hours after she allegedly struck her boyfriend John O’Keefe, a Boston police officer, with her car in the early hours of Jan.
