The Ring General appears to be sticking around in WWE for quite some time. A contract extension for Gunther is reportedly being finalized.

Gunther, current World Heavyweight Champion, is expected to sign a multi-year deal with WWE, securing his future till 2024. He gained prominence with long title reigns and impressive skills. Gunther will defend his title against Finn Bálor at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 14.

Finn Balor will challenge for the gold at WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event. At WWE Survivor Series, Balor interfered in the World Heavyweight Championship match between Gunther and Damian Priest. He attacked Priest and cost him the match.

Gunther is reportedly finalizing a new multi-year deal with WWE. Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that World Heavyweight Champion Gunther is in the final stages of a new WWE deal. Per Johnson, he is either at the end of discussions or has just signed a new multi-year deal with the company.

Reports are that WWE and Gunther have finalized a long-term extension that will keep him at the top of the card for the foreseeable future.
