68 people across 19 states have been infected with in the outbreak linked to cucumbers, resulting in 18 hospitalizations.

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) are investigating a multistate outbreak of salmonella infections linked to cucumbers.

Cucumbers sold to Costco, Walmart, Wegmans and Albertsons have since been recalled for possible contamination with salmonella.
