The UAE’s national airline has announced an ambitious expansion plan for 2025, with a highlight being four weekly flights from Abu Dhabi to Atlanta.

Etihad’s decision to add Atlanta to its list of destinations comes as part of an ambitious growth plan to launch 10 new routes in 2025.

Atlanta is a significant addition to ET's North American network, its fifth in the US. Gulf News cites Arik De, Chief Revenue and Commercial Officer at Etihad Airways, saying that ATL is the only nonstop flight from the AUH to the US and that all US-bound flights will benefit from the new US pre-clearance facility in Abu Dhabi.
