Novak Djokovic announced that Andy Murray will be his coach for the offseason and Australian Open in a post to social media on Saturday.

Recently retired Andy Murray is going to team up with Novak Djokovic, working with him as a coach through the Australian Open in January.

Novak Djokovic has appointed a new member to his coaching team as he prepares to compete for his 25th Grand Slam trophy at the Australian Open in January. The new member's name? Andy Murray.

Novak Djokovic has had hired longtime rival Andy Murray to be his new coach ahead of the 2025 season. Murray will work with Djokovic during the offseason and at least through the Australian Open.

"He never liked retirement anyway," joked Novak Djokovic in a social media post. The 24-time Grand Slam champion shocked the tennis world by announcing that he had hired former rival Andy Murray as a coach.

Andy Murray is going to coach Novak Djokovic through the Australian Open in January.
