King Charles might have asked Prince Andrewto vacate the Royal Lodge, but that doesn't mean the monarch is planning on leaving his brother penniless. According to sources, the monarch has been financially supporting the Duke of York after he lost his royal salary when he resigned from his duties.

Charlotte Griffiths, the Mail on Sunday’s editor-at-large, reported that King Charles is the secret source who paid Prince Andrew’s rent at Royal Lodge.

King Charles III’s wish to get Prince Andrew out of Royal Lodge has been an ongoing real–estate saga for over a year now. The monarch’s plan was to move his younger brother to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s former estate,

"I have heard from multiple sources that, far from cutting Andrew off, Charles has personally cleared his errant brother's bills for his upkeep and promised his Royal Lodge woes are taken care of, enabling him to stay there for the foreseeable future," Griffiths reported.
