Canada’s economy experienced a modest 0.3 percent growth in real gross domestic product (GDP) during the third quarter of 2024, according to Statistics Canada. This follows increases of 0.5 percent in the first and second quarters, highlighting a slower pace of growth.

The Canadian GDP expanded by 0.3% from the earlier quarter in the three months to September of 2024, slowing from 0.5% expansions in the first two quarters of the year, in line with market expectations.
