San Jose Sharks winger William Eklund will be among the 13 forwards chosen for Sweden’s entry into the 4 Nations Face-Off, according to a published report Monday in that country. Eklund has been asked to join Sweden’s national team and has accepted the offer, per Expressen, a Swedish national newspaper.

Off, scheduled Feb. 12-20 in lieu of the All-Star Game, will be the first international tournament to feature the best-on-best NHLers since the World Cup in 2016.
