The Boston College Eagles (6-1) men’s basketball team defeated the Boise State Broncos (5-2) 63-61 on Tuesday night to win the Cayman Islands Classic Championship. The Eagles played three games in three days and recorded wins over Old Dominion and Missouri State as well as the Broncos.

On Tuesday night, the Boston College men’s basketball team matched up with the Boise State Broncos for the championship of the the Cayman Islands Classic. Both teams had escaped the semifinals with very close wins and were looking to take home the trophy tonight after drama once again ratcheted up in the 4th quarter.

The Boston College Eagles (6-1) men’s basketball team defeated the Boise State Broncos (5-2) 63-61 on Tuesday night to win the Cayman Islands Classic Championship. The game was tight out of the gate. The Broncos had a slight advantage over the Eagles throughout the entirety of the first half, not letting their lead go until late.
