The Rams are taking a shot on former first-round cornerback Emmanuel Forbes after he was waived by the Commanders

Here are five things to know about Forbes, the Rams' newest cornerback. Forbes was a highly touted prospect out of Mississippi State and the Commanders loved him in the draft. They selected him with the 16th overall pick, making him the second cornerback taken; Devon Witherspoon was the first at No. 5 overall.

The Washington Commanders have released 2023 first-round pick Emmanuel Forbes. The second-year cornerback was a healthy scratch for two games this season and didn't play in two others when in uniform.
