Florida State is in talks with Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White to fill coach Mike Norvell’s vacant DC role, a person involved in the discussions told The Athletic on Monday.

Florida State reportedly has its man who will run the defense in 2025. Sources told Warchant’s Gene Williams and Jeff Cameron that FSU is poised to hire Nebraska defensive coordinator Tony White as its next DC. White will reportedly replace Adam Fuller, who was dismissed last month before finishing his 5th season as Florida State’s DC.

With Gus Malzahn already on board, Mike Norvell is set to fill his other coordinator spot with a former ACC coordinator.
