Addressing the Congress Working Committee (CWC) on Friday, Kharge issued a stern warning against infighting and anti-party remarks, stating that "tough decisions" were necessary to ensure accountability and identify the party's shortcomings after recent electoral setbacks.

Speaking at the Congress Working Committee (CWC) meeting, Kharge acknowledged the need for introspection, stating that the party must address its organisational weaknesses.

Kharge said the atmosphere was in favour of the Congress during the elections “but the atmosphere being in our favour is not a guarantee of victory”
