The New Orleans Saints lost do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill with what appeared to be a significant left knee injury during the final minutes of a 21-14 loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The New Orleans Saints have sustained another mid-season blow to their 2024-25 NFL campaign in the form of Taysom Hill’s injury. The American tight end endured a nasty knock during the Saints’ recent loss to the Los Angeles Rams.

The Darren Rizzi magical run is over for now, as the Saints got knocked back down to reality on Sunday. The Rams came in and bulldozed New Orleans in the second half and were able to close out the game late to earn a 21-14 win.

The win got the Rams back to .500 at 6-6, keeping them only one game out of first place in the NFC West behind the Seattle Seahawks. It wasn’t a pretty win or one that will make Sean McVay feel good about the offense, but it was a much-needed victory against a resilient Saints team that had been 2-0 under interim coach Darren Rizzi.
