Delhi Capitals co-owner Parth Jindal penned a heartfelt post for Rishabh Pant, whose association with the franchise has come to an end.

Rishabh Pant became the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL), being bought by the Lucknow-based franchise for a massive Rs 27 crores during the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction.

"Goodbyes are never easy...,' Pant wrote on Instagram. Talking about his nine-year-long journey with the Delhi franchise, Pant admitted he grew in several ways while playing there.

Rishabh Pant was part of the Delhi Capitals for nine years from 2016 onwards. Pant parted ways with the Capitals ahead of the IPL 2025 mega auction and was then roped in by Lucknow Super Giants at the bidding war.

Parth Jindal said that he and DC co-owners GMR had a chat with Rishabh Pant before releasing him, but the feedback was not taken as they though it would have been taken.
